FAQ

Which materials can be processed with the aid of a shredding machine?

Masur shredders can be used for a wide range of materials, including wood, paper, cardboard and plastics. We would be happy to come to you for a personal consultation to find the right machine for your application.

Are the shredders sensitive to metal parts?

The MASUR shredding machines are largely insensitive to smaller metal parts such as nails and staples. After the shredding process, the metal parts can be removed from the granulate with optional accessories such as an overbelt magnet.
If you have an excessive amount of metal in the feed material, simply arrange a consultation appointment with us.

What throughput rates can be achieved with the shredders?

The possible throughput capacities depend on many different factors, starting with the type and dimensions of the feed material, the drive power of the shredder up to the desired granule size. We will be pleased to arrange a test appointment with you at our premises in order to provide you with as precise information as possible about the throughput capacity.

What possibilities are there for material removal from a shredding machine?

The material transport of MASUR shredders takes place either via an extraction system or via conveyor technology. It is possible, for example, to transport the material via belt conveyors, troughed chain conveyors or screw conveyors.
If required, we offer optional metal separators for almost any type of transport.

Where can the Masur shredders be placed?

MASUR shredders can be installed both indoors and outdoors. The vibration-damping machine feet allow the machine to be installed on almost any fixed surface, and in most cases it is not necessary to dowel the machine.
