Subsidiary in the Polish Szczecin (formerly Stettin)
In September 2007 the subsidiary Masur Projects sp.z. o. o. was established in Szcecin. General manager is Dipl. Ing. Helmut Masur. With at first 3 employees the East European market shall be introduced into the concepts and solutions of Masur recycling and energy systems. Participation at LIGNA 2009 in Hanover
As already done at LIGNA 2007, Masur Energiesysteme GmbH will also participate at LIGNA 2009. This world fair for forestry and timber industry will take place from May 18 to 22 2009 in Hanover and it is surely the most important meeting for this branch. Masur will inform in time of the exact hall and booth number.Last year the LIGNA fair gave an enormous growth impulse to the branch. The number of visitors increased for more than 10 percent on 107,000. The focus themes hit the bull’s-eye. With excellent results LIGNA 2007 quickened the growth of international wood industry and it strengthened its international top position. “With more than ten percent we face a high plus of professional visitors and more guests from abroad than ever before” said Stephan Kuehne, member of executive board of Deutsche Messe AG, Hanover. “LIGNA 2007 has given the branch exactly those impulses which are necessary for a further healthy growth.
LIGNA created an exceeding positive atmosphere, themed “All concerning wood”. Many exhibitors talk about the “best LIGNA ever” and face a high increase of business contacts. With interesting innovations and new future aims the trend fair applied a standard for various branches of the wood industry, attracting a world public on 134 583 square metres (in 2005: 129 083). In the line of innovations Masur was in best adjacencies with his future orientated solutions.
